2011 Hyundai Sonata Bass Upgrade with Hushmat
The owner of this 2011 Hyundai Sonata didn’t want a full rebuild of her sound system but she did want the latest technology, and bigger bass with Hushmat. The professionals at Audio Express knew just what to suggest. A Pioneer AVH-491BHS updated her dash with a 7-inch monitor and DVD receiver. She has all the latest features, such as built-in Bluetooth with dual-phone linking and wide-band speech profile, plus a built-in HD Radio tuner. The deck is also ready for Spotify and Pandora control from the touchscreen. AppRadio One provides the ability to view and control compatible iPhone and Android smartphone apps from the receiver’s touchscreen using a one-cable connection. The unit is also ready for an optional SiriusXM receiver. We used Metra interface components to link to the amplified factory full-range sound system. Another Metra link let her keep her steering wheel controls. To bump up the bass, a JBL GT-BassPro12 was the perfect addition. The 12-inch subwoofer is loaded into a slipstream ported enclosure along with a 150-watt amplifier. The result is serious bump in one good looking package. But wait! There’s more! The sound upgrade was completed by adding Hushmat sound-deadening treatment. Hushmat stops the little rattles that steal impact from your system. At the same time, it cuts down on outside noise, blocks heat and cold, and helps focus the sound. This vehicle is proof that you need to hear Hushmat in action. The 2011 Hyundai Sonata Bass Upgrade with Hushmat was done by the professionals at Audio Express 1105 San Mateo N.E. Albuquerque, NM 87110 505-265-8133.
