Kenwood eXcelon X502-1 Mono Amp
The Kenwood eXcelon X502-1 mono amp is built to work perfectly with audio output from a factory radio or amplifier. This Class D powerhouse has enhanced internal mechanics designed to avoid noise, as well as connectivity features to make interfacing a more streamlined process. In addition to traditional RCA inputs, the newest eXcelon amps feature dedicated inputs to connect to speaker-level outputs from factory radios and amplifiers, eliminating the possibility of noise from splicing. Inside the X502-1 amp, the control system features a variable low-pass filter and bass boost. A subsonic filter improves efficiency by eliminating playback of frequencies outside the audible range, and a new circuit board layout and components provide a marked decrease of radiated noise. The result is 500 watts RMS power at 2 ohms, with clarity and fidelity you won’t believe until you hear it. Good looks and ease of use have been hallmarks of this series for years, and the new entries do nothing to tarnish that reputation. All connections are in one side, making it easy to wire multiple amps. If your system is lacking bass, you need to get into Audio Express / Quality Auto Sound and start your system today. Tell the audio professionals you want to hear what the Kenwood eXcelon X502-1 mono amplifier can do for your ride.
