Kicker 43DCWR122 Ported Enclosure
For awesome bass, the Kicker 43DCWR122 ported enclosure has to be at the top of your shopping list. Kicker knows all about building bass systems that pound and last a long time. That’s why we’re proud to feature this package at Audio Express / Quality Auto Sound.
Make no mistake, the dual 12-inch CompR series Kicker subwoofers in the 43DCWR122 are ready to handle lots of power. You’ll want a 2-ohm mono bass amplifier that can put out 1000 watts RMS all day, and peak at 2000 watts. That will wake up these massive subs, designed with a polypropylene cone, ribbed Santoprene surround, stamped steel basket and double-stacked magnets. Brass spring-loaded push terminals bring the power into the box and Spiralead tinsel-lead technology make sure it gets to the motors, no matter how hard they are pounding.
Once the subs start bumping, it’s time for the Kicker-designed enclosure to do its thing. There’s no flexing with the MDF construction and extensive internal bracing. That means the front-facing port, situated between the subwoofers, gets all the sound. This is a big box: over 17 inches deep at the bottom, 16 inches high and over 32 inches wide, but if you have the space, it is definitely a contender to add bass to your system.
To be sure you’re getting the lowest installed price in town, get into Audio Express / Quality Auto Sound and tell the experts you want to hear the Kicker 43DCWR122 ported enclosure for yourself.
